摘要:This text aims at reflecting and discussing on the use of narratives as an education and research instrument; it was developed with Pedagogy students of the Federal University of Pelotas, RS. In the field of education, I realize narratives allow other approaches, such as investigating the matrices of what has been pulsating in each person's life. Through my researches (PERES, 1999, 2002),especially in longitudinal study, I notice self-narrative is fundamental for the formation process (in a wide sense), moving reservoirs and imaginaries to the construction of knowledge about the self and the others; of knowledge to be and knowledge to do, simultaneously. Therefore, I believe myself to be betting on an education and research practice which sustains and cultivates the blooming of images in the being,in the experience of what has been lived, in a process of rediscovery and revelation.
