摘要：Although Toni Morrison concentrates on African American female’s subjectivity in The Bluest Eye, she does not ignore the way African American males construct their subjectivity. This thesis centers on how African American males are made impotent in their pursuit of manhood; how they are dehumanized, and how their failure impacts on their community.
