Este artigo pretende contribuir na discussão acerca dos métodos de investigação qualitativos utilizados no estudo e na intervenção em situações de trabalho. Partindo de uma discussão sobre as contribuições destes métodos apresentamos e discutimos uma teoria e um método particular bastante utilizado nesse campo, a Psicodinâmica do Trabalho. Pretendemos, ainda, demonstrar como os critérios de avaliação e a busca de cientificidade usualmente utilizados nos métodos quantitativos ganham novas perspectivas neste tipo de investigação.

This paper intends to contribute with the discussion concerning the qualitative methods of investigation used on the study and on the intervention of workplace. Starting from a discussion about the contributions of this methods we present and discuss the theory and a particular method largely used in this field, the Work Psychodinamics. We purpose to demonstrate how the assessments rules and the search of the scientificity usually used by the qualitative methods gain new perspectives with this kind of investigation.
