摘要：Las tecnologías de información y comunicaciones brindan numerosas aplicaciones en pro de la educación, investigación y puesta en práctica de las ciencias de la salud. En este artículo se presenta una revisión sobre distintas herramientas ofrecidas por este tipo de tecnologías, desde novedosas páginas Web con fines médicos hasta innovadoras aplicaciones de grandes desarrollos tecnológicos puestos en servicio para el cuidado de la salud. Se mencionan las implementaciones realizadas en la Universidad del Norte y se muestran sus impactos pedagógicos y sociales y se citan algunos proyectos en marcha, que evidencian la incursión de la institución en estas nuevas tecnologías.
其他摘要：Technologies of Information and communication are useful for numerous applications in favor of education, investigation and in health science applications. This article presents an overview of the different tools offered by this type of technologies from new web pages with medical purposes up to innovative applications of great technology developments placed at service for health care. This advances where put at service at the "Universidad del Norte" and its social and academic impact are shown throughout the article. Further more, it shows the researches that are taking place and how the university is involved in this new technology.
