其他摘要:Recently researchers and practitioners have focused on theapplication of managerial technologies in Latin American organizations. The lack of socío-technícal assessment prior to implementation, however, limits their usefulness, The purpose of this studywas to examine the utility of socio-technical systems theory to facilitate development of an improved quality of work life when new management technologies are adopted. A survey was presented to 128 managers in Pero. Results Indícated that the socio-technical system theory does provide a useful framework for studying organizational processes and for beginning to understanding factors affecting Latin American quality of work Iife, Implications for Latin American organizational research are díscussed
