其他摘要：When the range of stitnuli is constant, the value of the Stevens´ exponentvaries accordíng to the methods employed to measure it (Da Silva, 1985). In this researeh work we ínvestígated this .effect using two different methods: The extended triangular technique and the magnitude estimatlon procedure.sUbjects were 10 persons, 25 to S5 years old. The stimulus was the distance between two vertical and parallel línes, Results índícated, both for índívídual and for group data, the saine exponents and the same goodness of fit of the psychophysical power functíons, derived from both methods
