摘要：La investigación representa una de las necesidades más importantes para las universidades públicas y privadas. La relevancia que cada una de estas instituciones le otorga a este rubro, se ve claramente reflejada en la cantidad de artículos publicados, los miembros del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores que tienen contemplados dentro de su plantilla académica, así como el número de patentes que les son otorgadas a partir del conocimiento obtenido. Todas las instituciones de educación superior deben contemplar en sus objetivos prioritarios, mejorar año tras año la infraestructura y el apoyo financiero a la investigación. L o anterior les ayudará a convertirse en universidades líderes, productoras de nuevo conocimiento y les hará partícipes del desarrollo de su país, logrando reconocimiento como institución comprometida con la investigación científica y tecnológica.
其他摘要：Research represents one of the most important needs for public and private universities. The importance that each university gives to this area is clearly reflected on: the num - ber of articles published, the members on the academic staff belonging to the National System of Investigators (SNI), as well as the number of patents achieved from the research endeavors. All higher education institutions should aim to impro - ve the infrastructure and the financial support given to research each year. This will help them become leaders in the production of cutting-edge knowledge and important players in the development of their respective country. This will recognize the institution as one committed to scientific and technological research.
