标题：FACTORES ASOCIADOS AL NIVEL DE SOBRECARGA DE LOS CUIDADORES INFORMALES DE ADULTOS MAYORES DEPENDIENTES, EN CONTROL EN EL CONSULTORIO "JOSÉ DURÁN TRUJILLO", SAN CARLOS, CHILE

摘要：Junto al envejecimiento poblacional surge el incremento de personas dependientes que necesitan de un cuidador. Éste, enfrentado a múltiples demandas de atención, genera el síndrome denominado Sobrecarga del Cuidador. La presente investigación tuvo por objetivo determinar el nivel de sobrecarga del cuidador informal y relacionarla con características del cuidador y del adulto mayor. Es un estudio analítico de corte transversal, cuya muestra estuvo compuesta por 80 cuidadores informales de adultos mayores dependientes, controlados en el Consultorio José Durán Trujillo, San Carlos, Chile. Los datos se obtuvieron de la aplicación de la Escala de sobrecarga de Zarit (Lanz et al.,1996) y de una encuesta de caracterización sociodemográfica. La información fue procesada en el programa EPIINFO 2000, se usó estadística descriptiva, prueba X2 y Coeficiente Gamma. Los resultados relacionados con los cuidadores mostraron que 79% eran mujeres, 56% tenían entre 20 y 50 años, 49% presentaba escolaridad básica, 55% tenía pareja y 75% hijos. El 85% realizaba cuidados día y noche, 90% percibió su estado de salud buena o regular, 20% tiene sobrecarga leve y 38% sobrecarga intensa. Respecto a los adultos mayores, 62% eran mujeres, 82% tenían entre 70 y 84 años, 54% sin escolaridad y 44% escolaridad básica, 87% controlaba esfínteres, 24% presentaba patologías cardiovasculares. Resultó significativa la relación entre sobrecarga y presencia de hijos y entre sobrecarga y existencia de otra actividad laboral del cuidador. Se concluye que tener hijos y desarrollar otra actividad laboral influyen negativamente en el nivel de sobrecarga del cuidador informal.
其他摘要：It has been determined that along with the aging of the overall population there has been an increasing in the number of dependent individuals that are in need of a caretaker. Now, this caretaker facing multiple attention demands suffers a syndrome called "Caretaker Overload." This current research has as objective to determine the overload level of the informal caretaker and to relate such overload with the characteristics of the caretaker and the senior individual under his/her care". It is a descriptive study, analytical, transversal, based on a sampling of 80 informal caretakers of dependent senior adults under control at the Jose Duran Trujillo Outpatient Clinic, San Carlos. The data were obtained applying the Zarit Overload Scale, plus a socio-demographic characterization survey to the senior adult population and their caretakers. The information collected was processed utilizing the EPIINFO 2000 Program. For the statistical analysis we used descriptive statistics, the X2 test, and the Gamma Rate. The results as related to the caretakers showed that 79% were women; 56% were between 20 and 50 years old; 49% had evidence of primary schooling; 55% had a living-in partner; and 75% had children. 85% of caretakers provided care day and night; 90% perceived their health status as good or fair; 20% had a slight overload; and 38% an intense overload. As related to the Senior Adult population, 62% were women; 82% were between 70 and 84 years of age; 54% did not have any schooling; 44% had primary schooling; 87% were able to control bodily functions (sphincters); 24% show cardiovascular pathologies. The relationship between overload and the presence of children, plus other work activity demands among caretakers was significant. We concluded that the fact of having children and developing another work occupation made in them a negative impact in the care of the dependant senior adult.
