摘要：Se presenta una revisión de los fundamentos, conceptos y metodología para el cálculo de los DALYs (Disability Adjusted Life Years) o AVAD (años de vida ajustados por discapacidad), como una forma particular de los QALYs (Quality Adjusted Life Years) para integrar en un único indicador la duración de la vida y su calidad. Para ello se ha utilizado fundamentalmente el Tomo I de la Serie de 10 Tomos The Global Burden of Disease and Injury Series, editada en 1997 por C Murray y A López.
其他摘要：We present a review of the fundamentals, concepts and methodology for the estimation of DALYS (Dissability Adjusted Life Years) as a particular form of QALYS (Quality Adjusted Life Years) to integrate life duration and its quality into a single indicator. For this, we have mainly used Volume I of a 10-volumen series entitled "The Global Burden of Disease and Injury"Series by C.Murray and A. López, published in 1977.
