摘要：Se presenta una aproximación a la investigación realizada durante la última década en torno al Período Medio u Horizonte Tiwanaku, en los valles occidentales del norte de Chile. Se comparan posiciones interpretativas entregadas por diversos investigadores y se señalan algunos proyectos de investigación que, en opinión del autor, han sido hitos relevantes de la investigación en la comprensión de la cuestión Tiwanaku en el norte de Chile
其他摘要：Hereby is an approach to the research made during the last decade about the Middle Period or Tiwanaku Horizon, in the western valleys of northern Chile. Interpretative positions are given and compared by several researchers, and there are researching projects addressed as significant facts, according the author, for the comprehension of the Tiwanaku matter in northern Chile
