摘要:A socioliistorical article on the structure of the Catholic Church, this essay places emphasis on the ethical-affective and sexual division at ihe interior of the institution. It analyzes the stances that the Church has adopted in the course of history with respect to the complex of behaviors related to affect, such as those linked to sexuality and its satisfaction. The text analyzes fundamentally the emotional and psychological consequences of such stances on priests and other members of the ecclesiasatical hierarchy who have committed themselves to live in a specific religious community and to cany out a common mission.
