摘要：Essa pesquisa analisou os enunciados que produzem o sentido da articulação entre maternidade e trabalho para mulheres inseridas em diferentes contextos sociais. Utilizamos relatos das trajetórias de vida de mulheres que são mães e trabalhadoras, analisando-os dentro do contexto histórico que o tornou possível, compreendendo-o a partir dos lugares sociais ocupados por essas mulheres. Colocamos em questão a posição atribuída a mães trabalhadoras, além de atentar para a constituição social desses campos, demonstrando o quanto eles estão implicados mutuamente. O trabalho produz modos de ser mãe - através da utilização de tecnologias da medicina pela mãe profissional da saúde, através da aplicação de estratégias de gerenciamento pela mãe gestora, através da deslegitimação moral da mãe prostituta. A maternidade, por sua vez, produz modos de trabalhar - através da incitação dessas mães para que sejam mais dóceis e afetuosas constroem-se mudanças nos modos de trabalhar. Tomar essa articulação entre maternidade e trabalho como um problema, tem como um de seus efeitos responsabilizar as mulheres isoladamente pelo exercício dessas funções da forma como ela é legitimada.
其他摘要：This research analyzed the statements that produce meaning's articulation about the relationship between work and motherhood for women belonging to different social contexts. We analyzed working mothers' life trajectories considering the social position occupied by them in the historical context that made them possible. We question the position attributed to these women; we also paid special attention to the social construction of these fields (work and motherhood) showing how they are mutually implicated. Work produces ways of being mother - through medical technologies for the health worker mother, through managing strategies for the manager mother, through the moral delegitimization of the prostitute mother. Motherhood, on its turn, produces working ways - through incitation of these mothers to be more docile and affective in the workplace. Taking this articulation between motherhood and work as a 'problem' has a responsibility effect on women, once they are considered the only responsibles for the caring tasks by the way the exercise of motherhood is legitimized.
