摘要：Se reportó el caso de un paciente de 44 años de edad, masculino, negro, con antecedentes de úlcera duodenal que recibió tratamiento con Cimetidina y Bálsamo de Shostakosky y se curó. Pero acudió a nuestra consulta externa por presentar decaimiento, epigastralgia que se irradiaba a la espalda. Se le realizaron estudios hematológicos, imagenológicos y ultrasonograficos, los cuales arrojaron la presencia de bazo poliquístico, en el examen físico no arribó ningún resultado. Después de varios días de estudio se interconsultó con hematología y se decidió realizarle esplenectomía por cirugía mínima invasiva videolaparoscópica, se efectuó el procedimiento y se observó en la exploración bazo de tamaño y características normales, pero inmediatamente por debajo del bazo se advirtió un tumor de aspecto redondeado, grande y de consistencia renitente que emergía del retroperitoneo. Se decidió convertir a cirugía convencional y realizar esplenectomía y enucleación del tumor, ambas estructuras se enviaron al departamento de anatomía patológica para su estudio histológico; se informó un bazo histológicamente normal y el tumor resultó ser un feocromocitoma suprarrenal, sin repercusión evidente sobre el aparato cardiovascular.
其他摘要：A 44 years-old, masculine, black patient with antecedents of duodenal ulcer is reported. He was treated with Cymetidine and Shostakosky's balm and cured of such illness. He presented to the external service of our institution for presenting weaksness and epigastralgia that irradiatiated to the back. Hematologic, imaging and ultrasonographic studies were carried out, which showed a polycistid spleen; in the physical examination no results were evidenced. After some study days, he was interconsulted with hematology and we decided to perform splenectomy for videolaparoscopic minimal invasive surgery, the procedure was applied and it was observed in the exploration a spleen with normal size and characteristics, but inmediately under the spleen, a rounded, great and renitent consistency tumor was detected, which emerged from retroperitoneum. It was decided to convert to conventional surgery and perform splenectomy and enucleation of the tumor, both structures were sent to pathologic anatomy for their histologic study; the statement reported a normal histologic spleen and the tumor was a suprarenal pheochromocytoma, without evident repercussion on the cardiovascular system.
