摘要：Del Río y Ruiz-Castillo (2000) propusieron un nuevo concepto de desigualdad intermedia entre las nociones absoluta y relativa, y desarrollaron procedimientos empíricos que permiten extraer conclusiones de Bienestar à la Shorrocks (1983) El objetivo de este trabajo es utilizar esta metodología para deﬁnir un nuevo concepto, la (x, , p)-desigualdad, que permite cardinalizar algunas de las situaciones en las que se veriﬁca un aumento en la desigualdad relativa, donde el concepto anterior no es operativo. El mérito de este enfoq ue radica en que no juzga a priori la noción de desigualdad políticamente correcta. En este sentido, son los datos los que determinan el tipo de desigualdad para el cual dos distribuciones son equivalentes.
其他摘要：In Del Río and Ruiz-Castillo (2000) a new concept of intermediate inequality between the absolute and relative concept was proposed, and empirical procedures for a welfare analysis à la Shorrocks (1983) where developed. The aim of this paper is to use this methodology to diﬁne a new concept, (x, , p)- inequality, in order to range income distributions with higer relative inequality than the status quo, where the above concept dos not apply. The interest of this approach is that we do not need to assume an a priori notion of inequality. In this vein, the data are the ones which allow us to characterize the inequality concept that makes two distributions be equivalent.
