摘要:We discuss the criterion for irreversibility, which is usual in the Kinetic Theory of dense gases, based on Boltzmanns H Theorem and on recent molecular simulations. On the other hand, we assert that the Maximum Entropy Formalism (MEF) which is a Kinetic Variational Theory leads to a unifying description for irreversible processes, both in the kinetic as well as for the hydrodynamic regime, in such a way that the irreversibility criterion is based on the so-called Fishers minimum information theory.
