Substances identified as potential EDCs include some muscs, parabens and some UV screens. In this article we describe the use of these three families of substances, their detection in the environment, and the studies designating them as potential EDCs. Information about their presence in the environment, persistence, and capacity for bioaccumulation, as well as knowledge of their modes of action, remains incomplete.
