摘要:Numerous existing graphical systems in the embedded world for password authentication use image, area or pattern selection process. This study presents a novel method that employ image selection at its first level and an isolated pattern selection process on a magnified image display at its next level to provide a well secured password authentication system. The firmware for the proposed authentication scheme was developed under Eclipse open source platform and tested on Cortex-A8 embedded device as a standalone system with the aid of a TFT based graphical LCD screen, a character LCD and a keypad.
