摘要：Invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC), known to be the second most common histopathological subtype of invasive breast cancer following the invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC) constitutes 8-14% of all breast cancers in Western reports. As per statistics, in Pakistan breast cancer is most prevalent in Karachi with incidence of 1 in 9 but the frequency of lobular carcinoma in not known. Management of lobular carcinoma depends on closed surveillance in high risk group and due to bilateral involvement require bilateral mastectomy along with chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
