摘要：Foreign bodies embedded in the palate are unusual findings and can occasionally mimic other types of oral cavity pathology. Foreign bodies of the hard palate are rare occurrences. These patients can present to the Otolaryngologist in a variety of ways and often with confusing histories. A seven months old baby girl was brought by her father to an emergency (ER) with history that the father noted a black patch or object on the roof of baby's mouth. Palatal foreign body may be included in the differential diagnosis in palatal lesion especially in children.
