摘要:The present essay explores some of the issues faced by the author when he tried to interpret the cultural space of the central area of Chiangmai as a liminal part of the public sphere. Lights, temples, monuments, and most importantly the people who came into contact with the author during a long night stroll are given a voice and the seamless sea of stimuli faced at the heart of the ancient city are interpreted through the tools of Social Science.
