标题：Investigations on the Determination of 2,4-Dicholorophenoxyacetic Acid (2,4-D) in Tomato by Gas Chromatographic Method

摘要：Plant growth regulators have been used to increase the yield in tomatoes which have a great economic significance among the vegetables grown under protected cultivation. Use of 2,4-D is not permitted as a growth regulator in Turkey, but it is well known that this chemical has been used in tomatoes. A gas chromatographic method used for the determination of 2,4-D in plant materials was applied with some modifications to determine the residues of 2,4-D in tomatoes. Recovery of 2,4-D was found out to be 96-108%.
