摘要:This study was carried out to investigate the microbiological contamination sources of spring water in a bottling plant. It was not found coliform bacteria in the stored water but it was determined higher coliforms and mesophilic aerob total bacteria counts than the legal limits in the bottled water. Most important contamination sources was the returnable dirty glass bottles which are not cleaned adequately. The microbiological load of the bottles was significantly decreased when the temperature and alkalinity of the washing solution were remained at 70 oC and pH 11.
