摘要:Microorganisms can produce a wider range of lipid types than either plants or animals. These lipids range from simple lipids such as triglycerides, to complex and unusual lipids such as polyisopropenoid ether. Generally, a well-balanced medium reduces the production of oil. There should be no more than enough of growing nutrients (such as nitrogen) to increase the production of cell population, and medium should be rich in some fermentable carbon source. The factors such as inorganic salts, vitamins, oxygen supply, temperature and pH are greatly effective on either content or composition of oil.
