  • 摘要:Ergot ( Claviceps purpurea ) is the oldest known plant disease and the harmful effects of ergot alkaloids have been recognized for many years. Outbreaks of human ergotizm still occur. Ergot alkaloids are derivatives of lysergic acid. These mycotoxins produce symptoms of ergotizm in humans and mycotoxicoses in animals. Ergot control measures include the planning of less susceptible varieties, use of certified seed, crop rotation, ceradication of weed grasses near the fields and removal of sclerotia from grain by special machines. Processing of flour into bread and pasta can reduce the level of ergot alkaloids.
