摘要:Seven of 90 strains of Lactococcus lactis, originated from Turkey, showed complete resistance against 25 lactic phages. Six strains of totally 7 were determined as exopolysaccharide producers. Capsular exopolysaccharides and exopolysaccharides which are loosely associated to the cell wall were identified for four and two strains, respectively. It is determined that phage resistance phenotypes are formed by inhibition of phage adsorption in all exopolysaccharide producer strains.
