摘要：The article explores the topography of the ever-changing legal terrain upstart musicians when asserting a right in a joint work. It presents a story illustrating a common creative environment for rock stars in the making. It offers a brief overview of copyright and joint work to orient readers to the topic matter. It presents a critique of the deficits of the modus operandi of the federal courts with regard to joint authorship.
