标题：EXPANSÃO DE ÁREA DA AGRICULTURA BRASILEIRA: PERFIL E DESIGUALDADES

摘要：O artigo objetivou mapear as diferenças inerentes ao crescimento da área de produção da agricultura brasileira no período de 1994 a 2005, no contexto das mesorregiões brasileiras. Foram empregados dados de valor da produção e das áreas colhida e plantada, da pesquisa de Produção Agrícola Municipal (PAM), do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE). Utilizou-se o procedimento de análise de grupamentos para identificar similaridades e diferenças entre as mesorregiões agrícolas brasileiras. Os resultados evidenciam a presente importância da fronteira agrícola do oeste nordestino; do norte do Centro-Oeste e de vastas áreas da região Norte do País, em que pese o dinamismo observado nos estados do Paraná e Rio Grande de Sul.
其他摘要：The article aimed at to map the inherent differences to the growth of the area of production of the Brazilian agriculture in the period from 1994 to 2005, in the context of the Brazilian regions. We used data from Municipal Agricultural Production (PAM), of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). The Cluster Analysis was used to identify similarities and differences among the Brazilian agricultural regions. The results evidence the importance of the agricultural border of the Northeastern east region; of the north of the Center-West region and of vast areas of the North area of the Country, even though the states of Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul are still dynamic.
