摘要：Green industry sales are projected to total $40.4 billion in 1994. The industry ranked sixth in 1991 among farm commodity groups in total cash receipts, and over the past decade total receipts increased 10 percent per year. Net income per farm is the highest of all the commodity groups. Nevertheless, the sector has received scant federal support compared to other commodities. In spite of growth and significance, economic analysis and data availability and reliability have been limited. There is clear justification for increased efforts in data collection and economic analysis of this industry’s problems.
