摘要：TAscf atreer pthroe foAulnard ly(a acfhfeecmteidca la papplpel igedro wtoe rsa'p pslaeles)s and incomes in 1989, thirteen states passed legislation prohibiting food product disparagement (Harl), the so-called "veggie libel laws." Persons suing under these laws generally had to prove that the defendant made a false statement to someone else disparaging a food product, that the defendant acted with malice or intent to harm, and that the statement played an important part in inducing others not to deal with the person claiming damages.
