摘要:Recently I received a preliminary report from Jack L. Walker of the Institute of Public Policy Studies at the University of Michigan on a 1980 survey of national voluntary associations. This survey was designed to obtain information about the history, organization, and activities of a large number (1,454) of associations. MLA was one of those included. Although I emphasize that this is a preliminary report and the final results will appear in a book on associations in America authored by Dr. Walker, there were some very interesting data.
