摘要:Budgets are a fact of life for librarians as they are for most other professions. However, as a rule, our profession is notably ill-equipped by inclination and training to handle the fiscal, political, and planning tasks involved in effective budget preparation and justification. Hence, how-to-do-it continuing education courses, journal articles, and books to simplify and condense this complex and difficult area of management for those with little or no formal training are very popular.
