摘要：As this issue of the Bulletin goes to press, Congressional hearings to extend authorization of the Medical Library Assistance Act (MLAA) of 1965 beyond September 1981 have not yet been scheduled nor have all members of the authorization committees in the 97th Congress been appointed. By the time this issue is published, however, authorization hearings are likely to be in process and appropriation committees in the House and Senate will be considering funding levels for the MLAA for fiscal year 1982. To ensure that the MLAA is renewed and funded adequately it is critical that MLA members contact members of Congress as the authorization hearings are held and appropriation committees proceed to set funding levels.
