摘要：Library director, professional colleague, administrator, businesswoman, teacher, author, consultant, wife, mother, friend, and confidante, will the real Lois Ann Colaianni please stand up? When she did, to accept the gavel as the sixtieth President of the Medical Library Association, the membership was introduced to all of the above. But of even greater significance, the membership of MLA was introduced to an individual who combines the characteristics of exceptional intelligence, outstanding competence, and a concern for each of us as unique individuals. For those who have not yet had the opportunity to meet her, it is a sincere pleasure to offer this introduction.
