摘要：WITH THE passing of Mr. Fisher on Saturday, October 26, 1940, a life was ended and a career closed of one who will always be recognized as an outstanding pioneer medical librarian. He lived a long and useful life. He had the honor and unique distinction which is given to comparatively few of devoting his fifty years of active service to the one institution and to the great cause which he did so much to advance.
