摘要：This list has been prepared primarily to serve as an aid to Public Librarians. Every item has received the endorsement of some authority, to whom our sincere thanks are due. An effort has been made to avoid text-books and all forms of therapeutics that might tempt the reader to act as his own physician; and no book has been included that may not be given unhesitatingly to the average reader for his information and enjoyment.
