摘要:Harvard University, School of Medicine and Public Health I am sorry I cannot be with you at the meeting of the Medical Library Association on June 20th, to take part at the round-table discussion of the university libraries on Circulation and Fines. It would be interesting and illuminating to hear how librarians meet and solve the perplexing problems that arise daily at the charging desk. From this distance, however, the best I can do, will be to tell you about the methods in use at the Harvard Medical School Library. Afterward, perhaps, the librarians from other medical schools will give accounts of different systems and so a stimulating discussion may be carried on.
