摘要：Coagulase positive staphylococci are generallydifficult to grow in foodstuffs without substantialtemperature abuse and foodborne outbreaks areuncommon. The following incident resulted in thefirst detection of staphylococcal enterotoxin infood in a Queensland outbreak and is the firstreported outbreak of staphylococcal foodborneillness in Queensland since 1997 when 42people in a Bundaberg nursing home became illand subsequent faecal testing of a complainantisolated staphylococcal enterotoxin
