摘要：To the Editor: Dr Selvey's concerns1regarding our articledemonstrating that earlier Australian ChildhoodImmunisation Register (ACIR) coverage estimatesshould be adjusted upwards based on ACIR data alone2highlight the importance of local knowledge in interpretingACIR data. This has been recognised in the recent ACIRevaluation, resulting in the new recommendation thatreports from each jurisdiction be made to each meeting ofthe ACIR management committee. Although our paperdid not discuss in detail the differences amongjurisdictions, it did reference an earlier paper whichcovered this more extensively.3The recent report onvaccine preventable diseases and vaccination coverage4discusses interpretation of ACIR estimates, withparticular attention to those for the Northern Territory, insome detail
