  • 摘要:Removal of two basics dyes namely Basic Green 4 and Basic Yellow 2 by the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae has been studied in a culture medium prepared from sucrose. The experiments were carried out to determine discoloration. Parameters such as pH, initial dye concentration, the bio mass amount, the temperature effect on d ye remo val were studied . The study showed that the discoloration is best for an acid pH (5), low initial d ye concentration and a temperature of 30°C respectively 96% for the Basic Green 4 (BG4) and 93% for the Basic Yellow 2 (BY2). However, the yeast rate to obtain a better removal dye is 1.5%. Finally, a study on the discoloration kinetics allowed us to conclude that the discol oration of Basic Green 4 and Basic Yello w 2 follows a first order kinetic model. We observed that the processes taking place during the two dyes discoloration is called bioaccumulation
