  • 摘要:This study compares growth and production of a Douglas fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii/Mirbel/Franco) stand with a Norway spruce (Picea abies L. Karst) stand and with a mixed broadleaved forest dominated by oak and hornbeam. These stands at the middle age occur within the area of the training forest enterprise Kostelec nad Černými lesy. The average altitude of the stands is 420 m above sea level. The annual precipitation totals 600 to 700 mm. The annual mean temperature varies from 7,5°C to 8,5°C. Site was classified as acidic beech-with-oak forest (3K3). The age of the Douglas fir stand was 41 years at the time of the monitoring. The other two stands were at the age of 63 years. The main mensurational variables (d1,3, h, G, V, ρ, current increment, average increment) were investigated to compare a production capacity of the stands. The growing stock of particular stands reached 646 m3.ha-1 in the Douglas fir stand, 547 m3.ha-1 in the Norway spruce stand and 274 m3.ha-1 in the mixed broadleaved forest. The mean annual volume increment of the main stand numbered 13.7 m3 in the Douglas fir stand, 8.7 m3 in the Norway spruce stand and 4.4 m3 in the mixed broadleaved stand. The comparison of the results shows a predominance of the Douglas fir stand, 8.7 m3 in the Norway spruce stand and 4.4 m3 in the mixed broadleaved stand. The comparison of the results shows a predominance of the Douglas fir production capacity in comparison with stands of indigenous species. These results are also confirmed statistically.
