摘要：Number, area and financial damage caused by forest fires presented in statistical data by the State Administration varies substantially from year to year in the Czech Republic (CR). Financial damage on market timber production service calculated by official legislative procedure expresses only partially total socio-economic harm and damage expressing losses to all forest services. Presented article deals with methodology of calculation of respective socio-economic harms caused on forest services by forest fires. Socio-economic harms by forest fires were calculated in presented 5 case studies and compared to officially expressed financial damage. Total socio-economic damage and harm were higher than officially calculated financial damage from 18% to 93% depending on different conditions of respective localities.
