摘要：The growing rate of digital multimedia data faced a problem of transmission and storage, because the multimedia data needed more bandwidth for transmission of data, and also required more space for storage. Now compression of multimedia data is required. Basically compression technique is two loss compression and lossless compression. . At every step of process lots of schemes are available. Suitable domain search in wavelet encoding is computationally very expensive and hence it requires large time for encoding process. In spite of many advancements, computational and time requirements of encoding part is a still remains the main drawback of wavelet image compression. Hence the design of effective and efficient domain search technique is one of the most active areas of research in wavelet coding
