  • 摘要:Rapid growth is observed in research on mobile ad hoc network. The dynamic nature and freedom from fix infrastructure demanding new set of routing strategies for efficient communication. Dynamic and infrastructureless nature extend the application area of these networks to battlefield and disaster recovery areas due to which MANETs being researched by many different organizations an d institutes. MANET takes the advantage of traditional TCP/IP structure for end-to-end communication between nodes. However, due to mobile nature and the limited resource availability in wireless networks, each layer in these traditional models requires redefinition or modification for efficient working in MANETs. Mobility is one of the most interesting areas in MANET . Mobility is a challenging task in MAN ETs and has received more attention for researches which results in development of different routing protocols for MANETs. This paper simulates and compares the proactive , reactive and hybrid routing protocols (AODV, OLSR and ZRP) for their support of mobility
