摘要:Digital beam forming array antenna systems are installed outdoors for long periods of time. When antenna array element failure occurs, the beam pattern is distorted. In this case, resynthesizing the optimal beam pattern with all the functioning antenna elements, without getting the failed antenna element repaired or replaced is preferable. This paper shows the comparison between various optimization techniques to resynthesis the optimal beam pattern with sidelobe reduction and then finding the best technique which produces the best result
