OMNeT++ simulator supports parallel event-driven simulations with Null Messages synchronisationmethod. INET package for OMNeT++, implementing simulations of TCP/IP stack is, however,not prepared with parallelism in mind. The paper shows modifications of INET allowing parallelsimulation of TCP/IP traffic with OMNeT/INET along with performance results.
