摘要：Developed by James Dolley in the 30s, Event Studies Technique is able to assess the impact of an information could to have in stock prices. Mergers and Acquisitions (F&A) are focused in to obtain competitive advantage over other companies in the market and begin with the study of stock returns. This article shows an analysis of acquisitions and mergers in Brazilian companies of energy sector in 2011 with Event Studies Technique.
