摘要:The rhizobacteria, saprophytic bacteria that live in the plant rhizosphere and colonize the root system, have been studied as plant growth promoters for increasing agricultural production and as biocontrol agents against plant diseases. The variety of microbes present in rhizosphere soil. The plant growth promoting rhizobacteria presence is being observed from rhizosphere soil in Gloriosa superba. The field level studies revealed predominance of four PGPR microbes viz., Azospirillum, Azotobacter, Bacillus and Pseudomonas in twenty four locations of Tamil Nadu.
