摘要：This paper deals with the cost benefit analysis of a complex system with correlationin time to preventive maintenance and time taken in preventive maintenance. The systemconsists of two subsystems, say A & B, connected in series. Subs ystem A consists of twoidentical units while subsystem B consist only one unit. The operation of only one unit ofsubs ystem A with subsystem B is sufficient to do the job. The joint distribution of time topreventive maintenance and time taken in preventive maintenance are taken bivariateexponential. Each repaired unit works as good as new. Various measures of system effectivenessof interest to system designers and operation managers are obtained by using regenerative pointtechnique. The graphical behaviors of MTSF and profit function have also been studied
