摘要：The aim of the present work is to focus attention on the role oftechnological progress in the economic growth of Mediterraneancountries. The Mediterranean is an area that has only partially beencovered by international statistics and by the specialized literature.Therefore, it has been necessary to start measuring the data of the24 observed countries using a consistent methodology. Based onthe estimated data, it has then been possible to estimate total factorproductivity, which we have considered to be a synthesis of manyelements that a.ect the overall e.ciency of the economy.
