摘要:In a nontraditional format, this book gives students the opportunityfor participation within the text by providing large illustrations to examine while isolating the differences within the pictures. Using the two matched pages format within the book, children look at an illustration and try to find the component that is different from all of the others. They also examine a companion page that asks "I am different. Can you find me." The question is presented using one of 16 languages ranging from Hindi to American sign language. Each language has its own two-page spread including the matched illustration page. The book celebrates individuality and cultural heritages while recognizing and rejoicing in differences. Readers will enjoy learning about various cultures and languages while examining similarities and differences within the text
